Life Safety is a Family Affair
InTouch by SAH is one part of a family of businesses that specialize in keeping people safe at work and secure at home. InTouch is the medical alert and personal emergency division of SAH, Inc., who has served the Berks County, PA area for 30 years. At InTouch, one of our focuses is on the ever-growing senior population and their ability to remain in their home as they age. The other would be to provide personal security for individuals of all ages who may find themselves in a critical situation.
We hope to achieve this by offering products, specifically PERS (personal emergency response systems) and mobilePERS that allow the individual to be alone in their home or on-the-go and have 1-touch access to assistance. With 24 hour/7 days a week monitoring, help can be reached, thus providing peace of mind to the senior as well as their family.
SAH, Inc.
In 1988, Beth Hahn, President of SAH, Inc. started the business just after college with the main focus of providing professional security & fire equipment to the Do-It-Yourself industry. The business has grown over the years and now provides both residential and commercial customers custom installations of many different types of security, fire, video, connected home devices, intercom and many other low voltage systems.

Community Involvement
Proud Participant in the Aging Parent Fair
A team of professionals serving the aging population in Berks County and dedicated to assisting the adult children and families of that aging population, has come together to provide the “Aging Parent Fair”. The fair is a health fair styled event geared specifically to adult middle-aged children (40-60 years old) who find themselves caring for aging parents and loved ones. The event is designed to be a one-stop resource for services such as financial, care alternatives, assistive services, and connections to local programs and organizations who can provide much needed support to both the seniors and their families.
Restoring Hope
The Restoring Hope Foundation was built on the philosophy that communities are built on one house at a time. We have been honored to be part of a yearly event that helps a worthy family rebuild their lives by the kindness of volunteers and the community coming together to make their home a safer place to live. This week long project mimics the ABC Extreme Home Makeover idea but on a smaller scale. Months of preparation go into planning for the specific needs of the family after they are chosen.
3 projects have been completed to date providing families new heating, windows, handicap additions to new furnishings and appliances. We look at whatever needs to be done to help the family make a new start. SAH, Inc. has provided Security and Fire protection in the homes as well as the labor time for the entire project. It is our goal to help out wherever needed.
